You may have not heard of the Minnesota based, indie pop band The Role Call yet, but it’s only a matter of time before they’re on your radar. The Works-in-Progress Festival, hosted by Public Space One, featured a wide variety of artists in different mediums to enhance the necessary but often forgotten part of art: the process. I signed up to take Polaroid pictures of the show to highlight the event as it went on. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Are baseball and soccer really more boring than Football? Well, I looked into it. Here are some facts to start off with: In 2010 in Major League Baseball, there were 22,113 runs scored in 4860 games, for a total of 4.55 runs per game. If Iowa fans were looking for a key bounce back win at Northwestern, they are going to be dissapointed with this outcome. The Hawkeyes were defeated by Northwestern at all facets of the game; offense, defense, and special teams. Iowa showed fight at the end of the game coming back from a 28-3 deficit, only to have their comeback fall short on an overthrown James Vandenberg pass that landed out of bounds on 4th down.
