The Hawkeyes faced the Illinois State Redbirds on Sunday in their second game this season. Coming into the game with one win already under their belt, the Hawkeyes were in good spirits. Their confidence was easy to see, as Iowa won the beginning tipoff against the Redbirds. The high energy and fast pace were evident from the first tip. One Michigan fan even brought a trumpet to play alongside the Wolverine Fight Song every time it played, and oh did it play. Michigan ended the night at the top of the leader board (253 points) with three B1G Champions, and dominated the 500 yard Freestyle snatching up first, second, and third for the Wolverines.
