The night for Iowa Hawkeyes (11-5, 9-2) as the Hawkeyes went into halftime with a 39-28 lead. Cyclones Down Hawkeyes 90-75

Hawkeyes shooting woes continue against Iowa State. By Mark Freie (@markfreie) IOWA CITY, Iowa – The Iowa State Cyclones (7-1) saw five different players reach double-digit scoring totals in their 90-75 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes (8-3) on Friday night. Cyclone junior Naz Long led all scorers for the Cyclones with 21 points including five 3-point shots. Iowa Dominates Alcorn State

The (8-2) Iowa Hawkeyes and the Alcorn State Braves (1-6) tipped off tonight inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Aaron White bobble head night. Entering tonight’s game, the Hawkeyes, as a 30-point favorite, looked to get their 400th win inside Carver-Hawkeye, and they did just that, defeating the Braves 67-44. Lady Hawkeye’s Dominate in Season Opener

  IOWA CITY, Iowa.- The University of Iowa Women’s Basketball team opened its season Friday night with a 107-56 stomping of University of South Carolina Upstate. Five players scored in double figures for the Lady Hawkeye’s lead by sophomore, Ally Disterhoft who totaled 19 points on seven of eight shooting.   Disterhoft lead the first half charge with 16 of her 19 coming in the first twenty minutes.
