The first period was a disaster for Chicago, especially for goaltender Corey Crawford. Colin Wilson put the first tally on the board after he beat Crawford on a shot high stick side. The Big Ten Conference announced on Monday, April 13 that the Hawks will face Pittsburgh on September 19 in a non-conference battle.
