On a regular Thursday in March, I discovered underscores while scrolling on Tiktok. I worked my way through her discography and eventually fell down a rabbit hole of hyperpop. Her take on electronic and pop music is deeply refreshing and her captivating sound is definitely one to pay attention to.

Hawkeye Women Prove to be Elite

Last night the Hawkeyes Women’s basketball team defeated the Colorado Bison at Carver-Hawkeye Arena 80-62 to advance to the Elite Eight in the WNIT bracket. The Hawkeyes benefitted from 49% shooting from the floor and 36% from deep. The big contributors for the Hawkeyes were Senior guard Ally Disterhoft and Sophomore center Megan Gustafson. Disterhoft had 15 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals while Gustafson had 12 points and 8 rebounds. There was lots of excitement for the Iowa wrestling team last week when they beat Ohio State 21-13 on Jan. 27 after losing two meets in a row to Oklahoma State (11-24) and Penn State (11-26).This recent win brings the Hawkeye record up to 8-2 with a 4-1 record at home and a 4-1 away record and pulls Iowa up to tie with Ohio State for the third-ranked team in the Big Ten behind Penn State and Nebraska.
