The Iowa Hawkeyes came out and took control for the entire meet today at the Iowa City Duals. No mercy was shown as the Hawks defeated Baker College 55-0, Iowa Central 49-3, and Cornell College 55-0. IOWA CITY- The Hawkeyes (2-0) used a quick start and an impressive defensive push to ignite a 87-56 victory over the North Dakota State Bison (0-2) in front of 12,333 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa used an early 11-2 run to begin the game and never looked back. The Hawkeyes carried a 43-26 lead into the locker room at the break, shooting 51.5% from the field and 5-12 (41.7%) from three.
