Iowa Wraps the Bowtie on 2025 with Bowl Win Over Vanderbilt

No. 23 Iowa closed the 2025 season with a statement win, knocking off No. 14 Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl behind a clutch performance from senior quarterback Mark Gronowski. The victory snapped Iowa’s long skid against ranked opponents and served as a fitting sendoff for a senior class that chose loyalty and one last ride together.

No, you do not need to get your eyes checked. You read that prediction right. Last night, the Cleveland Indians defeated the White Sox 5-2 to move to a lousy 17-23 record on the campaign. Although they are now winners of three in a row, the Indians’ struggles have been one of the biggest early surprises of this MLB season, as most experts believed that The Tribe would be able to sleep through the season and still win the AL Central. The Iowa offense has some work to do It was a thrilling and captivating 29-28 victory for the offense in the Iowa spring game. Okay, maybe not “thrilling.” …or “captivating.” Both offenses struggled for the vast majority of the game, and a large portion of that falls on the quarterbacks. Iowa only has two, CJ Beathard and Tyler Wiegers, on scholarship and each looked shaky through large chunks of the contest on a cold, windy Saturday in Kinnick Stadium. IOWA CITY, Iowa—Three Iowa Football assistant coaches held their spring press conference in the All-America Room inside the Hansen Football Performance Center on Wednesday. Recruiting Coordinator Seth Wallace, Defensive Line coach Reese Morgan and Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator Brian Ferentz addressed the media for over an hour on how spring practice has gone nine practices in and what their individual position groups need to improve upon heading into the 2015 football season. IOWA CITY, IA – The Iowa Hawkeyes will take the field under the lights of Kinnick Stadium. twice in the 2015 football season. The Big Ten Conference announced on Monday, April 13 that the Hawks will face Pittsburgh on September 19 in a non-conference battle.
