Jefferson Starship landed in Iowa City’s Englert Theater on Sunday the 21st of September for a spectacular show. As the show began, the projector took us through time, introducing the band’s long history and members that shaped their legacy, with pictures and videos eliciting our minds’ imagination to the past lives of the other 99% of the room. Wrigley Renovations a W for Chicago

If agreed upon by all necessary parties, Wrigley Field could have a new look in 2014. On Wednesday morning, Chicago Cubs chairman Tom Ricketts revealed early artist renderings of proposed improvements to Wrigley Field and the surrounding area. If approved by all necessary parties, construction would begin immediately following the 2013 season. On Sunday we posted our thoughts about the Iowa spring game. The offense won the contest 61-37. Here are the unofficial stats from the game. The number one seeded Chicago Blackhawks were the clear favorite to win last night in their first game of the playoffs against the Minnesota Wild and stood an even better chance at getting an easy win when the Wild’s starting goalie Niklas Backstrom left the ice in pre-game warmups due to a leg injury.
