Logan Melia sits down with Eve 6 at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. Eve 6 took some time after their slot to discuss their early days playing gigs at small cafes all the way to a racetrack.

When Iowa City West senior Ally Disterhoft was nine years old she was on the Iowa Women’s Basketball team poster. She stood there with a basketball on her hip and posed gazing at the big dream of someday playing in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. In 2013, Disterhofts dream comes true as she is set to join the Iowa women’s basketball team. The 6’0″ guard had several offers, including Iowa State, Drake, and Creighton however, she chose to make her dream come full-circle and join the Hawkeyes.

With the 2013 MLB season starting Sunday anything could happen including historical records being broken.
