FEaST 2024 Preview

Feed Me Weird Things, along with the help of the greater Iowa City community, bring forth this year’s FEaST festival from October 30th to November 2nd at The James Theater. The four nights and eight artists serve a variety of strange and esoteric palette of sounds.

With 15 days of games left in the NBA season the race for the final playoffs push is getting heated up especially in the western conference. Although seeds 1-7 may be already given and may endure small changes the west 8th spot is still wide open. When are the Lakers going to get it together? Remember at the start of the NBA season when the Lakers was struggling? Remember when the Lakers started the season off with a 1-4 record, which made the Los Angeles Lakers decide to fire their head coach Mike Brown. Now look at where they are. The sparks are flying between Hall of Fame center Shaquille O’Neal and newly acquired Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard. The Hall of Famer recently called out Howard, saying that he is not the best center in the NBA. O’Neal stated that Brook Lopez and ex-Laker Andrew Bynum are better centers than Howard. The statement is just crazy. When you look at the stats, they clearly shows that Howard is no doubt the best center in the NBA.
