On a cool night, somewhere in between the last days of summer and first days of fall, the finale to the Hy-Vee Ampitheater’s inaugural season took place. Starring Arizona’s Gin Blossoms, hundreds turned out on their feet for the band in North Liberty’s newest venue.

Although seeds 1-7 may be already given and may endure small changes the west 8th spot is still wide open. When are the Lakers going to get it together? Remember at the start of the NBA season when the Lakers was struggling? Remember when the Lakers started the season off with a 1-4 record, which made the Los Angeles Lakers decide to fire their head coach Mike Brown. Now look at where they are. The sparks are flying between Hall of Fame center Shaquille O’Neal and newly acquired Los Angeles Lakers center Dwight Howard. The Hall of Famer recently called out Howard, saying that he is not the best center in the NBA. O’Neal stated that Brook Lopez and ex-Laker Andrew Bynum are better centers than Howard.
