At When We Were Young 2025, fellow Chicago area natives Plain White T’s sat down with me as we discussed how the local scene has changed, their tour with We The Kings, and how Las Vegas scares us all the slightest bit. We started the conversation out by sharing a mutual love of Death Cab for Cutie:

The number one selection in the upcoming NFL draft was already a bit of a question mark. It seemed that the general consensus a few months ago was that it would be West Virginia quarterback Geno Smith. Lately, it was more 50/50 between Geno Smith and Texas A&M offensive tackle Luke Joeckel. Now, things have been shaken up even further. New General Manager John Dorsey and Head Coach Andy Reid have already made huge moves at both positions. What is so wrong with dunking in pre-game warm-ups? Normally that would not be a problem because almost everyone does it.
