When a student dies under the university’s watch, it should become the concern of the entire student body. As far back as my first punk show as an Iowa City resident, I would continue to hear calls to action to vote against a bill being proposed to spend $125 million on building a new jail within Johnson County. In the fifteen years between Duane Banks’ retirement and Rick Heller’s hiring prior to the 2014 season, the Hawkeyes had just two winning seasons. Where Will Kirk Cousins Land?

A big move in the world of the NFL occurred last week. That move was ignited by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs agreed to send their quarterback, Alex Smith, to the Washington Redskins for cornerback Kendall Fuller and a third round pick. This trade leans towards Kansas City’s benefit. They not only cleared $17 million in cap space with sending Smith off, they ended the quarterback debate. It is now Patrick Mahomes time.   The 2018 National Championship game was at a tipping point at halftime, Georgia sat on a hard-fought 13-0 lead over Alabama. The Crimson Tide offense was struggling with Jalen Hurts under center. IOWA CITY, Ia. – Coming off a disappointing collapse in a road defeat to Virginia Tech in the ACC–Big Ten Challenge, the Iowa Hawkeyes were looking to establish themselves as Big Ten conference play opened against Penn State on Saturday.
