Have I mentioned I love the new playoff format before? Not because it’s easy to keep track of before the playoffs (Seth, your thoughts?) but because of the rivalries that pour kerosene on the Stanley Cup Playoff fire. Yes the Bruins haven’t played the Red Wings in the playoffs since the 50s, and there isn’t much of a conflict between Columbus and Pittsburgh, but Rangers-Flyers? Kings-Sharks? Blackhawks-Blues?
