The Iowa offense has some work to do It was a thrilling and captivating 29-28 victory for the offense in the Iowa spring game. Okay, maybe not “thrilling.” …or “captivating.” Both offenses struggled for the vast majority of the game, and a large portion of that falls on the quarterbacks. Yes, you read that headline correct, the Nashville Predators lost game one to the Chicago Blackhawks after having a 3-0 lead after the first period. The first period was a disaster for Chicago, especially for goaltender Corey Crawford. Colin Wilson put the first tally on the board after he beat Crawford on a shot high stick side. Crawford looked seemingly lost giving up bad rebounds and misplaying pucks behind the net. IOWA CITY, Iowa—Three Iowa Football assistant coaches held their spring press conference in the All-America Room inside the Hansen Football Performance Center on Wednesday. Recruiting Coordinator Seth Wallace, Defensive Line coach Reese Morgan and Offensive Line/Run Game Coordinator Brian Ferentz addressed the media for over an hour on how spring practice has gone nine practices in and what their individual position groups need to improve upon heading into the 2015 football season.
