The Lemonheads return with their first album in 19 years to Chicago’s Thalia Hall, with support from Erin Rae.

The Iowa men’s and women’s basketball teams will make their first public appearance of the season on Oct. 19 in the Black and Gold Blowout, which will take place in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The event begins at 8 p.m.; doors open at 7 p.m. More details on the season-opening appearance were released Wednesday by the UI Athletics Department. The Black and Gold Blowout — which will include full team introductions — will showcase scrimmages by both teams at some point during the night.
