Three games into the 2014 College Football season and the Iowa Hawkeyes have managed to stumble their way into a 2-1 record. Iowa thus far has yet to live up to the expectations this season that have led some to believe they could even win the West division in the Big Ten. After the Hawkeyes most recent loss to an Iowa State team that they should have been able to beat and a near loss to Ball State, it has become evident that Iowa needs to regain their focus and find their form. The Iowa volleyball team came into Saturday’s game with Indiana looking to snap a nine game losing streak. The Hoosiers also were fighting a losing streak, entering Iowa City on a two-matck skid. It was the Indiana streak that came to an end, as the Hoosiers topped the Hawkeyes, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16. The Hawkeyes took a 3-1 lead in an opening set that would tip back and forth throughout. The teams stayed even for the set’s entirety, as the score sat at 12-12 near the midway point of the opener. Despite a remarkable play from Bethany Yeager to nearly save … Continued
