Chicago Bears Extend Win Streak to Four with 26-14 Victory Over Saints

Soldier Field finally had something to celebrate again, as the Chicago Bears snapped their eight-game losing streak to the New Orleans Saints with a 26-14 win. Powered by a dominant defense and resurgent run game, the Bears overcame offensive struggles to notch their fourth straight win and move to 4-2 on the season.

This weekend, Las Vegas will host the fourth edition of When We Were Young. A festival celebrating the scene out in the desert holds more than you’ve bargained for as 53 bands take on 4 stages in 1 day. A whirlwind for every pair of vans and fishnets in the pit, it’s Christmas in October for many. Here is your stage by stage preview of When We Were Young 2025.

The (8-2) Iowa Hawkeyes and the Alcorn State Braves (1-6) tipped off tonight inside Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Aaron White bobble head night. Entering tonight’s game, the Hawkeyes, as a 30-point favorite, looked to get their 400th win inside Carver-Hawkeye, and they did just that, defeating the Braves 67-44. The Iowa Hawkeye football team (7-5) is headed to Jacksonville, Florida. This afternoon, Iowa Athletic Director Gary Barta along with head coach Kirk Ferentz, accepted a bowl invitation to play the Tennessee Volunteers (6-6) in TaxSlayer Bowl on January 2nd at 2:30pm central time at EverBank Field. “It’s a thrill for us to be going to the TaxSlayer Bowl,” Barta said. “This is a great opportunity for our students, and for our seniors to have another opportunity to go out and play and play against a historic program.” Iowa’s name got thrown around in the mix for a couple of … Continued

In the words of Iowa’s head wrestling coach Tom Brands, the hawkeyes went through a “trial by baptism” tonight in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. The #1 ranked Hawks took the challenge head on though and routed the #15 Iowa State Cyclones 28-8. It was an intense and exciting night. Even though the team score ended up a little lop-sided, seven of the ten matches were settled with decisions. IOWA CITY- The Hawkeyes (3-2) overcame a slow start to close out the Pepperdine Waves (3-1) on Monday night at Carver Hawkeye Arena. Iowa scored the first basket of the game and never trailed as they came away with a 72-61 victory. Aaron White yet again paved the way for the Hawkeyes, leading Iowa with 17 points. IOWA CITY, Iowa–The 14th ranked Wisconsin Badgers traveled to Kinnick Stadium Saturday to take on the Iowa Hawkeyes, not only for the rights to the Heartland Trophy, but also for a shot to represent the Big Ten West in Indianapolis at the Big Ten title game. Although Iowa outscored Wisconsin 21 to 10 in the second half, the Hawkeyes fell short, losing 26-24. With a victory over rival Minnesota next week, Wisconsin will clinch the Big Ten West Title.   Iowa City, IOWA- The University of Iowa Women’s Basketball team won its opening game of The Hawkeye challenge on Friday 97-68 over a pesky Pepperdine Waves squad.
