IOWA CITY, IOWA- A winter storm pounded Iowa City Friday night and continued into Saturday morning. 70,000 seats were covered with over six inches of snow by kickoff but the grounds crew had the field ready to go for senior day and the 2015 home finale at Kinnick Stadium. The undefeated Iowa Hawkeyes (10-0) took on the Purdue Boilermakers (2-8) for a chance to clinch a spot in the Big Ten Championship game. The Hawkeyes dominated the first quarter of the game. IOWA CITY, IA – The Iowa Hawkeyes will take the field under the lights of Kinnick Stadium. twice in the 2015 football season. The Big Ten Conference announced on Monday, April 13 that the Hawks will face Pittsburgh on September 19 in a non-conference battle.
