On a regular Thursday in March, I discovered underscores while scrolling on Tiktok. I worked my way through her discography and eventually fell down a rabbit hole of hyperpop. Her take on electronic and pop music is deeply refreshing and her captivating sound is definitely one to pay attention to.

Hawkeyes turn it on in second half to defeat Chippewas

The first half wasn’t exactly the prettiest thing anybody watching the Iowa-Central Michigan game on Monday night at Carver Hawkeye Arena had seen. The Hawkeyes struggled to score in the first half, shooting only 35 percent from the field and 20 percent from behind the arc. Fortunately for the Hawkeyes, so did the Chippewas, who shot only 28 percent from the field and 35 percent from behind the arc. Women’s Basketball Roasts the Redbirds

The Hawkeyes faced the Illinois State Redbirds on Sunday in their second game this season. Coming into the game with one win already under their belt, the Hawkeyes were in good spirits. Their confidence was easy to see, as Iowa won the beginning tipoff against the Redbirds. The high energy and fast pace were evident from the first tip. Illinois State scored first resulting in what would be their only lead throughout the entire game, 2-0. Hawkeyes Fall in Three Sets

The Iowa volleyball team came into Saturday’s game with Indiana looking to snap a nine game losing streak. The Hoosiers also were fighting a losing streak, entering Iowa City on a two-matck skid. It was the Indiana streak that came to an end, as the Hoosiers topped the Hawkeyes, 25-21, 25-23, 25-16. The Hawkeyes took a 3-1 lead in an opening set that would tip back and forth throughout. After a 1-4 start to the season, the Los Angeles Lakers have decided to fire head coach Mike Brown. Despite Brown having a 42-29 overall career record as Lakers coach, they still let him go.
