October has ushered in a new group of challengers and left the forgone conclusions out in the cold, and nothing could be more exciting.

Rookies on the Rise

Going into the 2017 NBA draft experts were projecting that the draft class could rival the 2003 draft class of Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Carmelo Anthony as one of the best draft classes in recent history. Names that popped up in conversation as potential super stars were top picks Markelle Fultz, Josh Jackson, Jayson Tatum, Lonzo Ball, and De’Aaron Fox. Coming off one of the most exciting off-seasons to remember, the start of the NBA season looms around the corner. My own excitement is matched by that of many others, as it will be intriguing to see how everything that has shaped out over the summer months falls in place as teams hit the hardwood. On the Right Path In 2015 Blake Bortles was coming off his rookie campaign in the NFL, which was sub-par to say the least. The first year is always rough for a rookie Quarterback in the league, so the optimism was still there for Bortles after year one.
