Around the Big Ten: Week 10

It’s been a minute since we last checked in on the Big Ten, but a few general trends have continued over the past couple of weeks. Michigan and Oregon keep spiraling, UCLA and Indiana keep winning, and here in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes seem to be more of a week-to-week thing. Let’s check out some of the biggest games coming up in this first weekend of November.

Freshman’s 4th double-double helps Hawkeyes vs. Wisconsin IOWA CITY, Iowa – Pressure and heightened expectations are hard to live up to. Freshmen in new universities, new states, even new parts of the country often have a difficult time reaching the standards others have set for them. Four-star recruit Luka Garza was no exception to this in the first half of Iowa’s season. Hawkeyes Turn Their Attention to B1G Play

The Hawkeyes throttled the Delaware State Hornets last night 89-57 to finish up non-conference play with an 8-5 record, and they seem to have gained some momentum as they head into Big Ten Conference play.
