The Iowa Hawkeye softball team welcomes a Big Ten opponent to Pearl Field for the first time this season as Michighan State comes to Iowa City. Iowa is off to a 2-2 start in the Big Ten, and MSU is 2-4; although both teams are above .500 in overall record. Though the two now live apart—Andre lives in Iowa City and John lives in Colorado—they opened for Kurt Vile on Sunday, April 3 and stopped by KRUI to perform several songs in the studio beforehand.
