The NHL has now stammered into a seventh week of its players being locked out. The games not being played are hurting more than just the schedule though. The game of posturing and negotiating is one that nobody wins.

As I waited in the cold outside The Rave in Milwaukee last weekend for a concert, I met the band and listened to a sample of their music. The Works-in-Progress Festival, hosted by Public Space One, featured a wide variety of artists in different mediums to enhance the necessary but often forgotten part of art: the process. I signed up to take Polaroid pictures of the show to highlight the event as it went on. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised.
