Interview: Eve 6 at Innings Festival

Logan Melia sits down with Eve 6 at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. Eve 6 took some time after their slot to discuss their early days playing gigs at small cafes all the way to a racetrack.

One of the words that Iowa head coach Fran McCaffery chose to describe his team was fragile. Illinois head coach John Groce, on the other hand, used words such as resiliency, toughness, and heart to describe the Fighting Illini. It’s easy to see how a close, back-and-forth game would go the Illini’s way. After Iowa’s overtime loss to Michigan State back on January 28, McCaffery questioned his team’s toughness, placing the blame for the loss to the Spartans on the Hawkeyes’ lack of it. It is very well known that the Chicago Cubs have not won a World Series since 1908, by far the longest drought in any of the four major sports, and while the Cubs have had some teams since then that many believed would be the team to break that drought (2003 immediately comes to mind), they haven’t even made the World Series since 1945.  While Theo Epstein and Jed Hoyer have a plan to finally bring a championship to the North side, it is highly unlikely that plan will be accomplished this year.  The Cubs lost more than 90 games … Continued

Look at the Eastern Conference. I’ll give you a few seconds. Yeah, It’s just the Pacers and the Heat. Besides those two teams, the Raptors and the Bulls are the only two teams that have an above .500 record. Yeah, that means four out of the fifteen teams in the conference are even above .500.
