Concert Review: Jefferson Starship, September 21st

Jefferson Starship landed in Iowa City’s Englert Theater on Sunday the 21st of September for a spectacular show. As the show began, the projector took us through time, introducing the band’s long history and members that shaped their legacy, with pictures and videos eliciting our minds’ imagination to the past lives of the other 99% of the room. It. Was. AWESOME.

On this week’s Lit Show, Justin Torres, a recent graduate of the Iowa Writers’ Workshop and a current Stegner Fellow at Stanford, discusses his debut We the Animals: A novel. Local band “The Treats” to rock the KRUI studio

Tune into Local Tunes Tuesday night starting at 10 PM and ending at midnight to listen to local band “The Treats” play some of their songs live in the studio.
