KRUI 89.7 FM announced today the newest member of its programming lineup.
The station will now serve host to “The Morning Drive,” broadcast live weekdays from 8-9 CST beginning on Thursday, October 4. Jordan Kabialis and Matt Cozzi will co-host the show, which can be accessed by tuning in to 89.7 FM in Iowa City or anywhere and everywhere via krui.fm.
The show will cover the latest in sports and beyond, and allow for call-ins at 319-335-8970.
Kabialis is the sports director at KRUI and is in his fourth year at the station. He’s also the host of the station’s baseball show, “You Can Put it on the Board,” and “Sports Squawk.” Additionally, he contributes to “College Football Preview” on Friday afternoons.
Cozzi is in his third year at the station. He is the co-host of “The DJK and Cozzi Show” podcast and contributes to various other programs. For his efforts over the first portion of the semester, Cozzi was recently named station-wide KRUI Staffer of the Month.
