By staff writer Jen Hoch Local News Speeding and other drugs Two men were arrested in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and caught in possession of 52 grams o f marijuana as the result of a high speed chase. According to Johnson County criminal complaints, 19-yeard-old Patrick D. James Jr., and 21-year-old Bernard J. Butler II were speeding on Interstate 380, traveling 80 mph in a 70 mph zone before being caught with more than a 10th of a pound of marijuana. Grizzly Bear is one of those bands that continue to stand out by creating an engaging auditory experience. Their breakout album Veckatimist was lauded by music fans and critics alike, and it is probably safe to say Shields will follow suit. Shields is unique in that it doesn’t have a standout track, the quality is inherent in every song; each has its own handsome virtues. On Saturday, September 15, the living legend Dino Mannone stopped by KRUI to perform. Don’t forget about his show on Wednesday at 10 PM at Public Space One. The performance will feature the budding sensation Max and Kendall After Dark as an opening act, along with the Italian Futurist Robot Sextet.
