The third edition of Minnesota Yacht Club has wrapped was a resounding success. Through sweltering temperatures, heat lightning, and rain drops, none of it phased the over 35,000 fans who came each day to Harriet Regional Park. Champaign IL—Following their shocking upset of the Michigan Wolverines, the Iowa Hawkeyes traveled to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini ( 3-8,2-6). The weather, 35 degrees and wind gusts up to 28 MPH, played right into the game plan of the Hawkeyes ( 7-4, 4-3). A heavy dosage of the running attack was deployed and it did not disappoint.
