After being down by as many as 20 in the first half, Iowa women’s basketball couldn’t battle back against the No. 16 ranked Colorado Buffaloes. Iowa ended up losing the game 90-87 despite the fact that Iowa played a sloppy first half in their first road game. Samantha Logic did everything in her power to try and give Iowa their first lead of the game late, but came up short finishing with 26 points, 6 assists. On Sunday, November 17, 2013 Jimmie Johnson won his sixth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series title.  Johnson is one NASCAR Sprint Cup championship away from tying Dale Earnhardt and Richard Petty for the most NASCAR championships of all time. Iowa City was graced by the performance of electronic music producer and singer/songwriter James Blake on Saturday, November 16th at the Englert Theatre. The sold out show did not disappoint.
