The Ames, Iowa band Poison Control Center is no stranger to KRUI. In fact, they just visited KRUI in October. After being interviewed by Max Johnson in the KRUI Mission Creek Artist Lounge, the group played on Friday, April 1 at the Blue Moose Tap House with fellow Ames band Mumford’s, Land of Blood & Sunshine, and Birth Rites. The following day, the group played a 1 p.m. in-store show at Catherine’s, 7 S. Dubuque.
