After listening to a lot of jazz over the past week, culminating in an amazing performance by renowned trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire and the PUBLIQuartet last Friday at the Stop/Time Festival presented by Hancher Auditorium, I’ve come to the conclusion that most jazz isn’t meant for an audience at all.

The men of the Iowa Football Team were not the only Hawkeyes take on a Big 10 foe on Saturday. The Iowa Volleyball team took on the #24th ranked Michigan State Spartans Saturday night on Mediacom Court in Carver-Hawkeye Arena. After losing in 3 sets to Michigan the night before, the Hawkeyes were looking to get back on track in the Big 10 versus the Spartans.
