Swedish sister duo First Aid Kit released “The Lion’s Roar” video earlier this month. The song also serves as the title track of their forthcoming album, due out January 24, 2012. First Aid Kit originally became popular through their skillful cover of Fleet Foxes’ “Tiger Mountain Peasant Song.” But, on this track, the girls have taken their soaring harmonies to new heights with the help of producer Mike Mogis of Bright Eyes.

Luke Top and Lewis Pesacov formed this collective to explore their interest in African music styles, but their second album proves they have found their own style.
