Interview: Eve 6 at Innings Festival

Logan Melia sits down with Eve 6 at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. Eve 6 took some time after their slot to discuss their early days playing gigs at small cafes all the way to a racetrack.

Former Virginia defensive coordinator Jim Reid is reportedly interviewing at Iowa today. The interview was first reported over the weekend by 247Sports. On Friday night, FootballScoop.com tweeted that Reid — along with former Colorado receivers coach Bobby Kennedy — “will likely join the staff.” Reid was fired Dec. 2 as associate head coach and defensive coordinator at Virginia; the Cavaliers went 4-8 in 2012. Thursday night was a must win for the Iowa men’s basketball team. For a squad that has NCAA Tournament aspirations come March, a loss on Thursday would have virtually eliminated the Hawkeyes from that conversation. Down 36-35 at the break, the Hawkeyes (8-2) started off the second half on a 6-0 run, took the … Continued

The Big Ten Conference has added another school. The University of Maryland will join the Big Ten on July 1, 2014. The Big Ten Council of Presidents/Chancellors unanimously approved the addition Monday morning, as Maryland’s athletic teams will begin competition in all sports for the 2014-15 academic year. Maryland president Wallace D. Loh and director of athletics Kevin Anderson were instrumental in the move. Loh is a former provost at the University of Iowa. The school submitted a written application to join the Big Ten on Monday, which had to be approved by at least 70 percent of the Big Ten Council … Continued
