By Kif Richmann Mallory Husz committed to play volleyball at Iowa under Cindy Fredrick. When Fredrick was released from the program, it sent Mallory’s life careening. Although Iowa finished 7-21 in 2010, the Hawkeyes expect big gains led by Husz and other experienced leaders.

On Campus: Hawkeye men’s tennis hosts Ohio State on Friday. Since mid-February, the Hawkeye men have won 5 of the last seven matches. Ohio State, however, will test that run, as the #4 Buckeyes have a Big Ten best 16-2 overall record.
