Interview: Eve 6 at Innings Festival

Logan Melia sits down with Eve 6 at Innings Festival in Tempe, Arizona. Eve 6 took some time after their slot to discuss their early days playing gigs at small cafes all the way to a racetrack.

All are welcome to apply for said positions, the only absolutely requirement is active enrollment at the University of Iowa for the 2026-2027 academic year. No experience required, only a passion for student radio. All positions (except assistant engineer) are paid positions. A single applicant may apply and interview for multiple roles.

Marketing DirectorThe Marketing Director is responsible for KRUI’s public-facing promotional communications. Music DirectorKRUI’s Music Director leads the Music Department in the development of a consistent music format, ensuring that all music aired/streamed is within the guidelines set by the format. News DirectorStudents interested in careers in broadcasting, journalism, communication, and management will benefit from work as the News Director at KRUI. Online Content DirectorThe Online Content Director is responsible for continual oversight, maintenance, and content generation of the KRUI website (krui.fm) and all associated processes. Programming DirectorThe Programming Director provides a comprehensive programming plan for all KRUI on-air content, including supervising presenters’ schedules. The Program Director will strive to become knowledgeable about FCC regulations and station policies, and to enforce them when necessary.
