Down at Tempe Beach Park, they’re throwing a party. From February 20th-22nd, a barrage of bands and baseball players will descend on the sunny banks of the Salt River. KRUI’s Logan Melia is there to cover it all.

After eight years of radio silence, rapper, producer, model and fashion designer ASAP Rocky finally released his latest studio album “Don’t be Dumb”. After a couple of listens, the album certainly demonstrated its charm and charisma. While it wasn’t quite up to par with his earlier records, it’s still a great listen on its own.

On Saturday October 4th, World’s Worst took the stage at Gabe’s. The band took some time after sound check to chat with me, discussing their latest record “American Muscle”, how they got started playing music, and The Real Housewives of SLC.
This Saturday, October 4th, Louisville rock group White Reaper will be performing with Lip Critic and World’s Worst at Gabe’s, presented by the Englert Theater’s Track Zero series. This show will be one of the band’s first since the release of their 5th studio album, Only Slightly Empty.

Gabe’s in Iowa City hosts the third edition of Illiterati Fest, which will raise money for the local charity organization United Action For Youth. The event has six bands playing, all from a wide range of sound.
