Iowa Wraps the Bowtie on 2025 with Bowl Win Over Vanderbilt

No. 23 Iowa closed the 2025 season with a statement win, knocking off No. 14 Vanderbilt in the ReliaQuest Bowl behind a clutch performance from senior quarterback Mark Gronowski. The victory snapped Iowa’s long skid against ranked opponents and served as a fitting sendoff for a senior class that chose loyalty and one last ride together.

Detroit duo Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr. released their debut LP, It’s A Corporate World on June 3, 2011. Stream their Flaming Lips-esque single “Morning Thought” right here. (If you like it, the track is available for free download through the band’s MySpace for a limited time.) The group will play in Iowa City on June 14, 2011 at The Mill. Ponytail is a five piece group based on the spazzy guitar riffs and creative stylings from Baltimore. Ponytail was named in 2007 as the “Best Live Band”  by the Baltimore City Paper. They have toured with groups such as Battles, High Places, Hella, and many others and still on the up and up.

The song is part of his forthcoming solo album, which is being produced by Beck. Moore, who is married to his Sonic Youth bandmate Kim Gordon, will visit the KRUI Artist Lounge on Thursday, March 31 along with Gordon for an on air interview at 2 PM.
