Down at Tempe Beach Park, they’re throwing a party. From February 20th-22nd, a barrage of bands and baseball players will descend on the sunny banks of the Salt River. KRUI’s Logan Melia is there to cover it all.

After eight years of radio silence, rapper, producer, model and fashion designer ASAP Rocky finally released his latest studio album “Don’t be Dumb”. After a couple of listens, the album certainly demonstrated its charm and charisma. While it wasn’t quite up to par with his earlier records, it’s still a great listen on its own.

By Mike Rabon Chants of “just like football” reverberated through Carver-Hawkeye Arena Wednesday night as the Hawkeyes put the finishing touches on a declining Spartan squad 72-52. Just like football, Iowa jumped to a seemingly insurmountable lead in the early stages of the game. At halftime on October 30th, 2010 in Kinnick Stadium, Iowa led powerhouse Michigan State 30-0. The Spartan basketball team managed to record points but the feeling was the same as they trailed 41-20 as the buzzer sounded to conclude the first half. Two weeks before the Hawkeyes were down, having tied Oklahoma State in Stillwater and snapping a 69 dual meet winning streak.
