This week’s Track of the Week is “Magazine” by Caroline Smith. 
“Magazine” is the second track of Caroline Smith’s recently-released album, Half About Being a Woman, a slow and mellow blend of indie, pop, and R&B. “Magazine” begins with a three-part harmony of Smith’s voice, soon joined by a drums and an irresistible beat your head will bob along with naturally. The addition of a subtle bass and occasional guitar blend with Smith’s harmonies and drums to create a full, layered sound.
Caroline Smith will be performing with Max Jury and Sleepy Kitty on Saturday, November 2nd, at Gabe’s in Iowa City. The show is 19+ and begins at 8:00 PM.
