On Saturday, September 15, the living legend Dino Mannone stopped by KRUI to perform.

Don’t forget about his show on Wednesday at 10 PM at Public Space One. The performance will feature the budding sensation Max and Kendall After Dark as an opening act, along with the Italian Futurist Robot Sextet. Admission is free, and, as per Dino’s request, “respectable threads” are preferred.

On Saturday, September 1 the Heligoats squeezed in a visit to the KRUI studios after recording a Daytrotter session and before their show at Gabe’s. The Washington-based group has a forthcoming album, due out the end of October 2012.
