NPR’s All Songs Considered debuted a song from Andrew Bird’s forthcoming album Break It Yourself today. This track has all the trappings of a typical Bird composition, but we think its summery sound are the perfect fit for the unseasonably warm weather we’ve been experiencing in Iowa this week. Valentine’s Day haters will also enjoy the song’s edgy lyrics: “you’ve done the impossible now/took yourself apart/made yourself invulnerable/no one can break your heart/so you break it yourself.”
