Interview: Laura Bergus on Authoritarianism in Iowa

Lawyer and Iowa City city council member Laura Bergus talks about the alarming recent trend of authoritarianism in Iowa. She also elaborates on why the government is targeting trans people, and the purpose of the Back the Blue laws.

On Campus: Iowa baseball brings in the Hoosiers. If the weather holds up, the Hawkeye baseball team will play three games against the Indiana Hoosiers at Duane Banks Field in Iowa City.  Indiana is one of the top teams in the Big Ten, with a 21-11 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the conference.  Iowa will look to win their first Big Ten series, as they are currently 2-4 against Big Ten opponents. The Hawkeye men and women traveled to Tempe, Arizona and came home with three individual champions and one relay champion. KRUI Sports Staffer Kylie Sebert brings you the latest in track and field.
