Spring training is always good for a funny injury and this spring we’ve been treated to two. First we saw A.J. Burnett go down with a broken eye socket which he suffered attempting to bunt a ball in batting practice. Now, we’ve been treated to Joba Chamberlain’s season-ending injury, which was suffered outside of the game of baseball.
