You know it’s going to be a good day when you start it off having breakfast next to Nolan Ryan. First up on the day was a tour at Chase Field, regular season home to the Arizona Diamondbacks (sorry, no video). From there it was time to visit our 3rd facility, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Salt River Fields is the spring home of the Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies. It is the only MLB facility built on Native American territory.

After sitting in traffic for almost an hour, there was barely time for dinner before heading out for spring training facility #4, Phoenix Municipal Stadium. Phoenix Municipal is where the Oakland Athletics make their spring traing home. The A’s will open their season in Japan against the Mariners.
