Grant Jackson, host of The Basement Show on The Lab, interviews Lindsey Robinson, a former University of Iowa student now living in Oakland, California. Robinson said she has friends and neighbors who have been involved with Occupy Oakland since its beginnings, when they were just starting to set up camp and hold discussions about the economy.
Robinson herself got involved after the police brutality against a lot of the protesters on October 25th. “I feel like I, along with a large amount of people in Oakland, really wanted to take a stand,” she said.
